Sometimes we forget that Istanbul is a peninsula and that the best way to see it is from both on-shore and off-shore. The Golden Horn By Bike & Teleferic & Boat route is a kind of perfect combination of The Historical Peninsula and The Golden Horn area. For this reason, it is the most demanding routes by far.

The historic city of Istanbul is situated on a peninsula flanked on three sides by the Sea of Marmara, the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. The route is moderate on the world’s greatest natural harbor that the majority of the ride is flat. Some of the city’s most historical and cultural contexts and some of the best views of The Golden Horn are from the Pierre Loti Hill. You’ll see it all on the cable car when you go to the Pierre Loti Hill.

Back on your bike, the final part of the ride takes you to Sutlice, Balat and Kasimpasa district, naval yard, marinas, and so much more, until you return to Eminonu district by a ferry.
