Itinerary :
DAY 1 -ARRIVAL IN ISTANBUL – TRANSFER TO HOTEL
Upon your arrival at Istanbul Ataturk airport our transferman will be ready to meet and transfer you to your hotel. Time at leisure, stay overnight in Istanbul.
If requested as an optional extra tour we can suggest to you

DAY 2 -BYZANTINE – OTTOMAN RELICS TOUR(B-L)
(Included meals: Breakfast – Lunch)
08:30 You will be picked up from your hotel for Full day tour of Old City. In this day you will be able to see:
HAGIA SOPHIA
Byzantium largest cathedral, converted to the mosque 1453 by the Ottoman Empire and today open as a museum to see both religion remains.
BLUE MOSQUE This mosque complex, containing Istanbul s only mosque with six minarets was built by Sedefkar Mehmet Aga for Sultan Ahmed 1st. early 17th century.
HIPPODROME Center of sport activities and political events of the Eastern Roman Empire.
GRAND BAZAAR Famous shopping center worldwide. Shopping possibilities for carpet, jewellery, leather etc
TOPKAPI PALACE Built by Mehmet II,the conqueror of Istanbul,served as the residence of the sultan – administrative seat of the Ottoman Empire for 400years.
17:00 After the tour,you will be transfered back to your hotel.Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 3 – BOSPHORUS BY BOAT – TWO CONTINENTS TOUR (B-L)
(Included meals: Breakfast – Lunch)
08:30 You will be picked up from your hotel for Full day tour of Two Continents. In this day you will be able to see:
SPICE BAZAAR: Mystical smells of various spices. Shops selling fruits, vegetables, flowers, caviar and dry fish etc…
BOSPHORUS BY BOAT: On the waterway separating the two continents, Asia and Europe. Opportunity to take photographs of marble palaces and ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture, besides modern residences and luxurious apartments.
BOSPHORUS BRIDGE: Unique chance to go from one continent (Asia) to another (Europe) in two minutes.
BEYLERBEYI PALACE: The summer residence of Ottoman Sultans with its original furniture and magnificent gardens with the harem on the Asian side.
CAMLICA HILL: Offers a panoramic view of Istanbul and Bosphorus from the highest point of the city.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel at around 17:30. Overnight in Istanbul
DAY 4 – DEPARTURE FROM ISTANBUL (B)

After breakfast check out from hotel (before 12:00), transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport regarding your flight details.

Mehbob 17/08/2015 8 / 10 Eight ladies stayed in this apartment over 11 days. The apartment was very generous in size giving us room to move without tripping over each other. It was nicely furnished and decorated, the beds were really comfy and so were the couches. Another plus was not having to use traditional keys to enter the premises. The kitchen had all manner of utensils and appliances should you wish to cook (we only made breakfast). There were a couple of minor maintenance issues with the tap ware in the bathrooms however, the owner is having these all replaced soon. The owners do request guests to remove their shoes to keep the carpet on the stairs as clean as possible (understandable) however, this then makes the stairs very slippery when descending - several slipped and one broke a toe on the last day of our stay. The location of the apartment was outstanding, could not have asked for better. We could walk to so many places/attractions with ease. We sampled three of the restaurants (one twice) in our… |

It's within walking distance to Central Park, Times Sq, Top of the Rock, and the Hudson. The Subway station is 1 block away and you can get to anywhere from it - we went to WTC, Empire State, Coney Island and the Baseball to name just a few - get the $30 weekly pass, it's a steal.We found loads of fantastic local restaurants all within walking distance - El Centro and La Masseria Dei Vini were our favourites! We highly recommend the apartment, it's as good as the pictures on the website, and Lisa dealt with all our queries very promptly and efficiently - we will definitely book it again when we return in a few years time! |
